  SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT UENR-SRC RT. HON BAAH ACHEAMFOUR LORD EBENEZER The speaker of the 9th Parliamentary Council of the UENR-SRC earlier today joined the UENR Counselling unite in collaboration with the UENR Ladies in their blood donation exercise. The speaker said he was motivated by a video used for an advertisement. He further said the death of a woman in the video made him remembered the death of his Mom and Dad and was motivated to donate to save lives for those who have their parents alive not to experience their death.  He commended the good work done by the aforementioned bodies for putting brains together in organizing the wonderful blood donation exercise. He therefore encouraged students and all staffs who are yet to donate to hurry up and help in savings lives.

  Samuel MENSAH Chief Clerk uenr-src Parliament Yesterday I had an exclusive interview with LBM. In the interview, I spoke about the role of Leadership and how we can position UENR at the Academic forefront within Ghana and beyond our borders.  "Leadership is the course and everything else is the effect".  I explained that, if our SRC/LNUGs leaders want their names written in the annals of history as public servants who gave their all for their people 🙏 then they must be selfless and truthful .  The Parliamentary Council upon its fourth sitting has passed a new resolution with regards to the interdiction action meted on the 1st Deputy PRO. The Parliamentary Council in their new resolution passed, has suspended the interdiction action and reinstalls the 1st deputy PRO. Meanwhile; • Pursuant to Article 49(2) of the SRC Constitution, the above-mentioned officer has been subjected to appear before the Privileges and the Judicial Committee for contempt of Parliamentary Council [Article (14)(4)(b)] which has been tasked by the Rt. Hon. Speaker to deal with such matter. • Findings by this selected committee tasked to deal with the matters will be presented to the house for further deliberation. • The concluded decision by the house will be communicated in writing to the judicial Council. • A copy will be served to the President for proper redress of the matter and appropriate punishment due him when found guilty.
