MENSAH SAMUEL (FINANCIAL SAMMY) DISCLOSED HIS INTENTIONS TO CONTEST FOR LNUGS FINANCIAL SECRETARY

 

Months ago I took a bold 

decision and that was to avail myself to serve as the organising secretary of ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION and As CHIEF CLERK OF UENR SRC PARLIAMENT . I have served UENR with all commitment and dedication. 

I am taking another bold step and that is to run for the position of LNUGS FINANCIAL SECRETARY. 

I absolutely believed in the principle of accountability. Yet the conversation I am bringing to the table is the principle of responsibility. The office of the financial secretary should be able to answer the question "whether or not the expenditure the LNUGS incurs within a period is a prudent?" 

I believe in transparency and for that matter I will subject myself to scrutiny.I ardently believe the office of the LNUGS Financial goes *FAR* more than merely signing cheques and making budgets but to offer more impact through advocating for students in the lines of finances. That is why I bring into this election the mantra *"Financial Advocacy and Responsibility "* ( *FAR* )
