PARLIAMENT SUSPENDS INTERDICTION ACTION AND REINSTALLS THE FIRST DEPUTY PRO

 The Parliamentary Council upon its fourth sitting has passed a new resolution with regards to the interdiction action meted on the 1st Deputy PRO. The Parliamentary Council in their new resolution passed, has suspended the interdiction action and reinstalls the 1st deputy PRO. Meanwhile; • Pursuant to Article 49(2) of the SRC Constitution, the above-mentioned officer has been subjected to appear before the Privileges and the Judicial Committee for contempt of Parliamentary Council [Article (14)(4)(b)] which has been tasked by the Rt. Hon. Speaker to deal with such matter. • Findings by this selected committee tasked to deal with the matters will be presented to the house for further deliberation. • The concluded decision by the house will be communicated in writing to the judicial Council. • A copy will be served to the President for proper redress of the matter and appropriate punishment due him when found guilty.

LEADERSHIP OF PARLIAMENT AGREES TO MEET THE LEGAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION TO DIALOGUE

  The leadership of the UENR-SRC Parliamentary council upon intensive meeting held yesterday on a formal letter served to the house through the clerk of Parliament on the issue of interdicting the 1st deputy PRO of the UENR-SRC. Pursuant to Article (40)(5)(e) of the UENR-SRC Constitution which mandates the Legal Affairs Commission to offer advises to the Parliamentary Council on all legal related matters, upon this provisions of the UENR-SRC Constitution the Parliamentary Council agrees to dialogue with the legal affairs commission. Speaking to the Speaker Of Parliament in an interview, he made it clear that on humanitarian grounds the house can temper justice with mercy upon the realization of the fault of the 1st Deputy PRO and formally apologizing to the house in writing. UENR SRC PRESIDENT WORSHIPS WITH PENSA AND CASA

As part of the vision of the President H.E Amankonah D. Kingsford to run all inclusive administration, he has taken it upon himself to visit all denominations on UENR Campus. In the Presidents speech he made known his willingness to reach all denominations and build an extraordinary relationship with them together build the church of God. He also added that his doors are always open to offer any form of help which is not beyond his ability to all denominations on campus. He made a statement that, as he was seeking for power it is these same denominations he came to solicit for help and now that through their prayers and support has made him the President, he believes a successful administration can not be run by leaving the spiritual leaders behind. Mr. Samuel Mensa (Chief Clerk uenr-src Parliament) A.K.A Sammy is a brother  Today I received a briefing on the circumstances that led to the accident of the VIP bus carrying students to Winneba Campus from Sunyani . I am incredibly saddened by the deaths of innocent students who lost their lifes in the accident I joined the family of the deceased today in mourning over the Void caused by our good fellow students. It is written "it is appointed for a man to die once and after this , judgement". But this I pray that mercy reign over judgement. Wishing the deads a blissful rest in eternity. My condolence to the families of the dead and speedy recovery for the injured. I wish all students well in this academic year

Dr. Frank Amoakohene 2020 NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ashanti Mampong Constituency The 2020 NDC parliamentary candidate, Dr. Frank Amoakohene has provided funds to cover the cost of the party card replacement exercise for all branch executives in Mampong constituency. He has further made a cash donation to the constituency executives to support the upcoming validation and card replacement exercise.  He indicates that it is a token of appreciation for the hardwork of the branch executives during the 2020 general election. The card replacement exercise shall begin from tomorrow Wednesday, 16th March, 2022.
